WhoWeARE
Welcome
Take something to drink and a comfortable seat, we introduce ourselves and explain the history and the motivations driving the creation of Horological Tools.
HTD LAB Project.
In our workshop in Florence, we design and take care of every watch and customer, both at the time of purchase and for servicing afterward.
Our collections are produced in finite numbers, once the batch of the collection is finished we move on with a new project.
We do not exclude that in the future there will be a new collection similar to a previous one, but it will still be designed from the beginning.
History.
HTD was born in Florence, from the meeting of Federico Del Guerra and Federico Zulian, during their university adventures. Mechanics and Watchmaking enthusiasts choose to officially open HTD in 2020 with the first Hesagraph and Jungle chronograph collection.
We have always had a certain propensity for mechanics which has then sharpened over time. Fate wanted us to meet Renzo and Piero on our journey, respectively a watchmaker and a mechanic. Both had their own shops next to each other. Renzo with his precision taught us how important Mechanics with micrometric tolerances is.
On the other hand, Piero with his garage, where you could smell that nostalgic smell of oil and grease, with the Delta Integrale posters hanging on the walls. An expert on carburetors, many people kept coming to him just to adjust the idle. He taught us how engines have a soul and that their music is a sign of their status.
The encouragement and acceptance of previous generations have provided us with the basis from which to write our history.
Push.
At the heart of the HTD spirit is the desire to bring fun back into the lives of watch and mechanical enthusiasts. Everyday instruments that take us out of the monotony of the usual certainties. Joy and boredom are similar words, but boy, do they stand for something different!
HTD stands for Horological Tools Department.
We don't make watches, we make tools. And so we bring back to life the spirit of the last century, the crazy one, which characterized motor racing on the edge of legality, exploring the depths of the sea and the good life away from the racetracks, poolside, or aboard hulls riding the waves. Let's give watches back their true use as instruments.

The Dolce Vita for HTD cannot fail to be accompanied by crazy rides; the medium is not that important, whether on wheels, sail, or some kind of propeller.
As long as there is action and speed, we are on board.
